Te Puu Ngāi Tahu descent, Was born in Dunedin in 1963 and from 1968 grew up in New Plymouth before moving to Opunake in 1998 Te Puu explores the desire to re-examine New Zealand current affairs using constructivism as an influential theme and woodblock printing as the means to communicate what affects us, along with significant local landmarks. Te Puu has an expanding output of work and has exhibited in a number of galleries in Aotearoa, with buyers collecting his work from as far as South Otago. All works are Carved Wood block prints on 200+ gm paper
